How do I actually get in touch with a caregiver on Care.com?
Providing you have a Premium account, you will be able to send a message to the potential caregiver. You can do this in two ways. Once you’ve scouted out a potential employee, you can send a direct custom message outlining your proposal. Otherwise, the second way is to post a job in which the candidates can reply and apply directly to you. All messages sent through Care.com are sent in an email-style.
How does payment work through Care.com?
Families can use the ‘Payment Center’ to make sure all wages are paid securely and directly to the caregiver. You will need to fill out a secure payment form, either on the website or the app, and choose to either submit a recurring payment or a one-off via the ‘Pay Now’ link on the caregiver’s profile.
I no longer need Care.com services. How do I cancel my membership?
Simply log in to your Care.com account and click on the ‘My Account’ tab on the left. Scroll down to the Membership Information section and edit the ‘profile status’. From here you’ll be able to downgrade your account, which will be activated at the end of your billing cycle, or just ‘cancel’. Once this is done, it cannot be reversed.
